EMC2 gang hanging out to watch the Winfield Twilight Crits.
Radcliff got out of his Disney chair to join the shot. . . 
    

Dan Martellotta, Jim Ward & Gareth Reeves line up for the Cat 5 race Saturday.  Gareth will last less than 1 lap due to a wheel problem.

Cat 5 lap 1 - this is the bunch that will end up being the top 10 the whole race.
    
 

Gareth Reeves & Jostein Alvestad line up for the race ahead.  A dangerous duo indeed.
 


Newest member Jim Ward lines up for the 5's.  He will fall back in the bunch only to work back up throughout the race!
    


Dave Reed before the Pro 1/2 race.  Stomach issues did not keep him from racing and taking a prime at the top of the hill.
   

Tony works in the pack Saturday.  Shortly, he will take a blistering flyer, showing the colors solo around the course.
  

Smile Gareth!  I know you wanted 1st, but this is a solid finish at Winfield's Sunday Cat 5 race.
  


Wait - I thought you were 2nd?  Oh- Cat 5 Overall 3rd.  Very good!

   

Dave Reed working at the front (peloton clinging out of view) to bring back the escape of the day.  Impressive considering stomach problems he had both Saturday and Sunday.  The blurriness means he was, in the words of Ricky Bobby, "goin' real fast." 
   
  
    
 Radcliff entered the 3's instead of Masters for a change.  Saturday's 2/3 race was challenging, what will this hold. . .
    

. . .the usual, push the pace.  Attacking is simply more fun and challenging than being a tail gunner.
  

This escape has a brief gap, but in the words of Fabio Orlandi, "You gotta go harder than that."  It failed.
  

The pace and temperatures heat up Sunday. . .
  


Actually, no they didn't.  The bunch was conversational at one point.  Is this a 180k stage or a 40 minute + 3 race?
 

Time to go!  Enough racing with chit chat. . .

2 men escaped, so the sprint was for third. 
Radcliff was pinched until too late and limps in, frustrated.
